R. French Transport

About

History

Founded by Ralph and Colleen French over 15 years ago,
R French Transport began as a one-truck operation hauling fuel over the ice roads in the Northwest Territories.

Ralph French’s experience as an “ice road trucker” drove home the importance of practicing the principles of safe operations, and living them, day in and day out.

Prior to serving the oilfields full time, French used to haul heavy equipment for oilfield work as well as liquid fertilizer in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

In 2006 R French Transport shifted their focus of operation to serving the oil fields of southeast Saskatchewan and western Manitoba. For the last seven years they’ve built a reputation for fresh water and emulsion hauling expertise and service as well as an enviable safety record.

Today, from their yard in Forget, Saskatchewan, R French Transport delivers hot and cold fresh, filtered water, salt water and emulsion, and chemicals using a fleet of 24 trucks and 28 tri-axle trailers.
